I think they're trying to find out if you worked while in school and if your paycheck went toward education expenses. So, if you worked to pay for drinking binges, that wouldn't count, but if you worked to pay for books, food, rent or tuition, that would count.
Even then, I dont' think you can view them from LSAC before you send them, can you? Isn't it only after you're at a law school?Is there any way to read the letters once LSDAS has received them. I know that it is possible to waive your right to view LORs, but I don't know how all that works. Maybe I did this without knowing it?? I would really like to take a look at one of my LORs. Is this still possible? TIA

You should definitely title it, "Response to Question 8" or whatever the question is. That way, it draws attention away from the fact that it's an explanation of a deficiency and just makes it matter of fact.
