Law School Admissions / Re: What LSAT to shoot for?
« on: August 23, 2006, 07:21:33 PM »
Yeah, I am really thankful to everyone for replying and being helpful.  I am hoping to work on getting something published this semester.  I am doing an independent study with a professor that I think should be able to help me out in that department.  I am just scared because my initial LSAT's weren't all that great but I seem to be making quick progress through just working in some Kaplan and Princeton review.  I think I've gained roughly 10 points with little effort so far.  So, thanks all, I'm definitely going to heed the advice of trying to get an article in a journal of somekind.  And intend to write my personal statement about Peace Corps. and possible the 'essay' about some topic related to the Peace Corps.

Law School Admissions / What LSAT to shoot for?

So, I realize this may be the wrong thread for this question but I couldn't really find anywhere else to post it.

My ultimate question is what LSAT score do people think I am going to need to get to get into Yale.  That is my ultimate dream school, as I would prefer academia eventually, and I want to make sure I'm ready to get in.

So here's my other information
various volunteer activities
a few clubs and organizations but nothing overwhelming
I have worked through college and have some decent work (real life) experience which I think is typically a plus
My wife and I are going to be attending the Peace Corps. leaving in July

After returning from the Peace Corps. I will be going to law school (I intend to apply while overseas) and just wondered what kind of LSAT score most people think would be required to make the cut for Yale.  I appreciate any feedback.
