Sent transcript in last week. What's the average turnaround time to see my script on the LSAC site?
Also: my GPA dipped a bit last semester. Should I wait to apply until after fall grades come back in Dec, or just send in what I have and supplement my app with great fall grades? Thanks!

Do people generally type the data-sheet part of the application, or do they hand write them? Thanks

Hmmm, then it might be worth doing just internally for the school, to keep me in that Summa range....regardless of LSAC.
Credit wise I will be okay to take, I'm rather ahead.

I've got one B- that is weighing down a GPA otherwise vastly dominated by A's and A-'s. I just learned that I can take the class again (Microecon 104, what can I say I bombed my first real college exam). If I take it over again the original course just has a blank by the grade on the transcript and the second course has the actual grade by it.
My question is, would this be worth doing? Will admissions look down on this? It would def be an aid to my GPA (like putting me over the 3.8 mark from the high 3.7s), but I feel like school might see it as too zealous.
Let me know what you think

I transferred after my first semester. I had a great GPA at my initial institution (SLU) before I transferred to WashU. Will the LSAC amalgamate my two GPAs? Or are they each stated on their own? Thanks!
Also, how much does the quality of the undergrad institution matter to grad schools?

Yea, I'm a WUSTL undergrad, and they're big on people showing interest. I think the school has a confidence problem.
Thanks for the reply

Do visits to the schools matter like they do in undergrad admissions?
Do schools even keep track?

Thanks for the replies.
Other than GPA and testing scores what sort of things should I do to make my application to P-ton or KSG competitive straight out of undergrad?

I'm a bit torn between applying to law school or heading down the path of getting a masters in MPP or MPA.
How hard is it to get into the prestigious MPP or MPA programs? I don't want an academic track, as I'd rather not teach. Also, scholarship money wouldn't be a huge issue, I just need to get in.
Would a MPP or MPA from a prestigious school help me get into a t10 later down the road?
What steps can I take now to get into one of these prestigious MPA/MPP programs?
Do these forums want work experience, or do they disfavor students coming directly out of undergrad?
Is there a forum for MPP/MPA admissions?
Sorry for all the questions on my first post. Thanks in advance!!!
