Black Law Students / Re: I flunked out...any advice?

Also you must recieve a letter of good academic standing from the previously attended law school in order to complete your application packet at most other law schools when you reapply. However, every law school is different some dont require this while most will. As I said before, you have to sit out for 2 years mandatory before re-entering law school.

Trust me it can be done. I believe you are required to take 2 years off according to ABA rules but you can reapply and more schools than you think will be willing to accept you if you can show some meaninful progress from the time you left school until the time you go back. PM me if you have any more questions or concerns. Trust me though it can be done.

Just came back from Morgantown with the wife on Saturday. We were able to find a 2 bedroom apartment for 535 a month. The catch is we had to sign the lease to start on June 18 although we wont be moving until mid July. The place has some kind of income restriction so the property manager was kind enough to use just my wife's income after we explained that I will not be working while in law school. I can give you the details of the place if you need a place as well. The only thing is they want people to move in asap. We were up there a day or so before finding this place. It just seemed a ripoff to pay anything above 650 for a place up there when you can find better housing for your money in Charlotte for comparable prices...but I suppose that is how it goes. Good luck!

J, did you ever decide where you are going?

Life is but a dream to me i dont wanna wake up
30 odd years without having my cake up
so i'm bout my pap-er
24/7, 365, 366 in the leap year
i dont know why we here
since we gotta be here
life is but a beach chair (chair, chair, chair)
went from having shabby clothes
to crossing over Abbey road
hear my angels singing to me (are you happy HOV)
i just hope im hearing right
karma's got me fearing life
Colleek are you praying for me
see i got demons in my past so i got daughters on the way
if the Prophecy's correct than the child shall have to pay
for the sins of the father
so i barter my tomorrows against my yesterdays
in hopes that she'll be O.K.
and when i'm no longer here
to shade her face from the glare
I'll give her my share of Carol's Daughter
and a new beach chair

(I can hear my angel sing)
Life is just a dream and you really don't wanna wake up, wake up
(I can hear my angel sing)
Life is just a dream and you really don't wanna lose
(I can hear my angel sing)
Life is just a dream and you really dont' wanna wake up, wake up
(I can hear my angel sing)
Life is just a dream and you really don't wanna lose
life is but a dream to me
gun shots sing to these
other guys but lullaby's don't mean a thing to me
I'm not afraid of dyin'
I'm afraid of not tryin'
everyday hit every wave like i'm Hawaiian
i don't surf the net
no i never been on myspace
too busy letting my voice vibrate
carving out my space
in this world of fly girls
cut Throats in diamond cut ropes i twirls
Benz's round corners where the sun don't shine
i let the wheels give a glimpse of hope in ones grind
some said "Hov how you get so fly"
i said from not being afraid to fall out the sky
my physicals a shell so when i say farewell
my soul will find an even higher plane to dwell
so fly you shall so have no fear
just know that life is but a beach chair (chair, chair, chair)

life is but a dream can't mimic my life
i'm the thinnest cut slice
inner cut the winners cup
where winters rough enough to interrupt life
thats why i'm both saint and sinner...nice
this is jay everyday no compromise
no compass comes with this life just eyes
so to map it out you must look inside
sure books can guide you but your heart defines you chica
your corazon is what brought us home
in great shape like Heidi Klum
Maricon, I am on
permanent vacation life is but a beach chair
songs like a hallmark card until you reach here
So til she's here
and she's declared
The heir
i will prepare
a blueprint for you to print a map for you to get back
a guide for your eyes just so you wont lose scenes
I'll make a stink for you to think i inked these verses
full of prose so you wont get conned out of 2 cents
my last will and testament i leave my heir
my share of roc-a-fella records and a shiny new beach chair

The average amount of mony being spent on a wedding today is 27,000. I know people at my job who slave away just so they can spend that amount on the wedding, and they do not make enough to reasonably do that. Average savings for Americans is at an all-time low. The last thing people need to be thinking about is blowing 20k on a shiny rock. How many average middle class americans can afford to spend 20k on a ring when most of them complain about the price of gas everyday?

Agreed. Why spend 20K on a ring when you can put a downpayment on a house?

Because its important to live in a efficiency apartment for at least a year or two, so that we really are sure we are in love.
