For a bit of uplifting news that might help you feel better, I applied at the beginning of November to University of Colorado - Boulder and Pepperdine. Just now found out that I got into both. Patience and lots of prayers
I don't believe so, but I didn't look into it too much. Just saw that i wouldn't have to stress about finding private loans with my bad credit, and was really excited. Then two hours late got into CO and forgot all about evaluating it. I need to do that this week. I know there were federal loans in there and a mix of other things.
Thanks!! I just hope that I can get enough money at CO so that I can decide based on where i"m happier, not on $$. But if it comes down to it, I may need to take Catholic up on their $$, we'll see. Any other deciding factors between the two you think I should consider?
Ah, yes the question of the hour! I have no idea where I would want to practice. I think my best option right now is go visit both, get a feel for the campus, and in Boulder I need to check out Denver since that's probably where I"ll be practicing. Hopefully I'll get a gut feeling about one or the other?
Doing the same thing myself soon, and wanted to bump this up. I made an appointment with the financial aid counselor to discuss where they were at in the process. Hopefully I'll get some info, but in the very least at least I'll show a face with a name
Thanks for the info so far everyone. I got my award package on Saturday and they are giving me enough to go there (with a mixture of some Fed Loans in it) but it's still enough plus some extra, so that I dont have to take out private loans. Definatley worth consideration. Two hours after getting that award package online, I was accepted to UColorado - Boulder...curve ball for sure.
