Sounds like we have similar profiles. What languages do you speak? And which NP? I'm in Malibu working at an Env. agency too. Too much bureaucracy though. And whiney rich people.

Hee hee, my non-profit is local to San Diego. There's less bureaucracy at the more local grass roots level I think, but the main reason I am going to law school is to move onto more wide reaching issues, so I guess bureaucracy will have to become my friend.
I speak English French Spanish and Portuguese.

I don't think I will e-mail yet, Boalt is pretty clear about not bothering them in their 'complete' e-mail.

hey pidwidgeon...if you got dinged i'd give up hope altogether unless you have atrocious soft factors...which you don't seem to have. where are you from anyway? good luck to you! i'm sure you'll get in one of these days

Thanks for the vote of confidence Yeacrew. Oddly enough I thought my soft factors were my biggest attribute. Years of volunteering, now in high position of responsibility in Env Non-Profit. Lots of hobbies, speak 4 languages. Lots of leadership positions. I dunno :-(

I live in San Diego but I'm British- my only thought is that my 70% grades on my transcript have not been met with the merit they deserve. The UK system is so different- but surely they know that at Berkeley?

I would call but wouldn't know what to say, and really don't want to be whiney.

I am in exactly the same position. Husband is desperate to stay in California. I personally am so excited about the prospect of DC, but then again he is the one already changing everything so I can go to Law School for three years.
He'll be devastated if I get a Boalt ding today, as seems only too likely.

okay so there's a lot of us, so I guess we have to think something else is going on.
In staters might have something else going on? I personally have been considering if Internationals have something going on.

Stay calm :-) tomorrow is a week day again- mail phone calls e-mails and possible misery

Good Luck!

I feel the same way about you, pigwidgeon and yeacrew... Really good company to be in. It really makes me hopeful, I was extremely distraught when I didn't receive the most recent email.

Awww I am happy to be in a little club with you guys too.  Let's hope we don't have to drown our sorrows this week.

Yikes this Boalt e-mail has me really stressed out now. I hope there is some more news today.
I've been obesseively rereading my Boalt essay trying to figure out what I could have done wrong. It was very Boalt taylored.
