When I was in high school my entire english 11 class was brought to see Wit at a local theatre. Knowing the subject matter I was terrified that it would be very hard for me to watch as my mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer only a few weeks before then (she is fine now) but it actually ended up helping me. The humor is incredibly intelligent and sharp. If anyone hasn't seen it; I would definitely recommend it.

Last Fall is a hazy memory, but I think first day assignments were posted on the Freshlaw site. They went up either during orientation or right before. I do remember that we only had a couple of days to read, but the first day assignments were pretty light and easy.

As for class syllabi, a lot of profs will post them up on Blackboard, but I'm not sure that that will be available to you before classes start. I think for most of (maybe all) of my classes, the profs handed out the syllabus on the first day.

Again, sorry for the lack of detail, but right now it seems like a really long time ago. Don't worry, you will get your assignments eventually, and you will have plenty of time to complete them.

Thanks everyone. I went to Central Market and fell in love with it immdediately. It is now my new shopping destination for most items. Like you said there were some items they didn't have but I can just go to the HEB around the corner for them.

You are speaking my language! I've been looking for a store that is similar in quality to the HUGE Wegman's in Dewitt (not sure when the last you were in CNY, but it's been there for a while). This seems to be it! I'm definitely going to check it out later.

We tried whole foods but I didn't care for the produce or cheeses and there are some things that you just can't get at Whole Foods that are staple items in our house (I'll admit I have a sugary cereal addiction, Cocoa Puffs are like crack to me).

I've heard that Central Market is like a foodie's Heaven.

Anyone in Austin been there/recommend it? I love grocery shopping and our fridge is getting low so I thought I'd check it out. I saw on their website that there were two Austin locations: in your opinion is one better than the other?
