Im thinking about visiting a bunch of east coast schools over spring break. Duke is probably too far out of the way but I was thinking Virginia, Georgetown, Penn, Yale, Harvard, NYU and Columbia. Are there any outliers in this group? Is this doable within a week?

I know Harvard does with Tufts and MIT, any others?

Is Priority track another term for early acceptance?

Hi all! it seems that the consensus choice for the LG and LR sections of the LSAT is the powerscore bible. So whats the best choice for the RC portion of the LSAT?

Also I noticed powerscore also published a book called the ultimate setup guide. What is this and would you recommend this book as well?

PS: this might not be the appro. board for this question, but do any of you know anything about the GRE? whats the best prep. for that test?

thanks in advance

Law School Applications / Re: Get a Masters before going to law school?

Sorry, I didn't state my original question as well as I wanted to.

I didn't mean a masters as a boost to admissions into law school

I meant it as a boost to get a job out of law school, (Ie A Harvard BA Yale JD looks a lot better than say a state U BA Yale JD, and it might be better for someone to have a masters degree from a more prestigious University)

I don't know, I apologize if I sound ignorant, its just what I heard so I wanted to get your opinions on this.

What do you guys think about getting a masters degree before going to law school in a subject that you may be interested in such as economics or political science.

A friend of mine said it was a good idea to try to get a masters from an elite school first (if you just went to a state school for undergrad) because most of the students from T14 schools went to ivys and such for undergrad and will no doubt have the advantage in getting the best jobs (esp. at places like Yale and Boalt where the grading is unorthodox).

What do you think?

Ok thanks, what about Columbia, NYU, and Georgetown? Do they only have online viewbooks?

I've been trying to request viewbooks and brochures from all the T14 schools + Vandy, Texas, and UCLA. A majority of the schools had them, here are the ones that didn't. Make corrections as necessary.

Columbia, NYU, Georgetown had online brochures but no link for mailing them. Do they just want to save paper or what?

Cornell annouced its mailing cycle was over, understandable I guess.

I couldn't find any viewbooks at all (not even online PDF ones) on the Texas and UCLA sites.
