Choosing the Right Law School / scholarships, can the offers get bigger?
« on: January 11, 2007, 07:46:39 PM »
I've heard that you can negotiate with schools to get their scholarship offers to go up. Is this true?  If so, how would you do this?  Thanks.

Choosing the Right Law School / Drake University Ranking?
« on: December 26, 2006, 10:18:42 PM »
Drake University offered me a pretty good scholarship.  In looking at their numbers, it confuses me as to why they are ranked in the third tier.  Other than their admission requirements, they seem to be on par with other schools that are ranked much better.  Does anyone know why they are ranked as low as they are?

Back to my oritional post (and after seeing the post right before me), what do you people consider the South?  I was told anything in the south would be more conservative.  Now to me Virginia is in the north, but maybe it isn't?

I'm pretty sure they require it with the application.  I know I already sent mine in with the application.

Well, the liberals vs. conservatives is what it has turned into.  I origionally only wanted a few suggestions on what schools are conservative.

I'm Jewish a**h*le, and I hope you were as "creative" on your final as you were on this board...you'll be top of the class in no time. My Christmas day will be fine as I watch the Birds take on the 'boys. See you at McDonalds in a few years

I rarely eat there, but I'm sure you'll do well.

Good point.

Scooby, I think this jerk has solidified himself as a degenerate. No use replying to him anymore as nobody on this thread takes him seriously anymore. Deep down he probably knows he's the arrogant prick in class that's hated by everyone from the faculty to the students, and he's lucky to even be at Emory. Unfortunately, individuals like him will exist as malevolent tumors on our national discourse. Anyway, I personally am done with him and join the rest of the people on this board who feel the same way.

Yea, I hear you get sick of the food in the places where you work.

I have no chance at getting into UT, but what's your general reaction to your first semester academically?
