Hardly big guy. Maybe you could say that about Catholic, or American, but definitely not GW.
Going down every year? Fordham's track over the past 4 years has been 33, 32, 25, 27. So on average about 5 ranks lower than GW, but whether that difference outweighs the location advantages is at the least disputable.
OP also did not specify what she wishes to practice. Fordham may be reasonably expected to give her much better contacts for small/medium firm, gov't, and public interest work in NYC than GW. As for large firms, I don't see evidence of their epiphany as you so claim.
