Non-Traditional Students / Furthest Commute for Law School

What's the furthest commute you'll consider for law school?

I know plenty of us are in a position where we don't want to uproot our families, and may even take off to live in a crappy student apartment for 3 years, seeing them only on the weekends.  But if you're not up for the crappy student apartment and part-time family, what's the furthest you'll commute if you don't get into the law school in your city?

Personally I hate any and all commutes, but I talk to other people who commute well over an hour each way for an 8-5 job, which makes me curious if this group of LSDers is more apt to commute longer because you're in class less than 8 hours a day, or commute less because you'll be too busy doing homework.

Law School Applications / The Offical I'm NOT applying ED or EA or doing anything early thread

Anyone else out there?  Let's all revel in our non-EA/ED status! 

I was planning to apply EA a few places, but I'm going to retake in Dec and rewrite my PS, and quite frankly I haven't gotten around to a happy place on either and the deadlines are tomorrow.  Don't think I'm going to make it.

Is the Powerscore Course book worth the $600?

I've got the bibles, but I definitely need more practice material, preferably in the form of "solve these 18 must be true questions", so that I can feel like I'm mastering each question type before moving on to another, and the 6 questions at the end of the chapter aren't enough.  I have a bunch of prep tests, but I want to keep them "fresh" for timed practice, plus they mix up all of the question types (obviously).

I just realized how funny it is that almost every post on here that starts "my numbers are low, where should I apply?" Also seems to include "but I have good recs".  Well, I'd hope everyone on here has good recs!  I know some had to stretch to find a recommender or two, but still, why even have LOR's if they're not good?  Guess it just seems overkill IMO to say it.

And for the record...I have good recs too! ;D

Last night I had a dream that I got my LSAT score.  I missed 14 questions, and got a 170!  Oh that would be sweet if it were true.

#1 - I had to get a post on the top 200 that didn't have anything with "telescore" or "email" or "lsac" in the title.

#B - What really sucks is that between now and Friday afternoon I have one major task at work.  And that involves cold calling about 75 sales prospects.  Really, the last thing I want to do while repeatedly clicking "refesh" on the LSAC webpage is to call 75 people.  Do you think you'll believe anything that I say when I'm all distracted and jittery.

If it wasn't HIGHLY against the rules, I might just have to sneak in a rum and coke tomorrow.   ;)  Na, that would be a bad Boss.

Prosecutor roams courthouse naked.  Caught on camera.  His lawyer claims that this man has a mental illness and we should stop discriminating against the handicapped.

Um...is this is an illness, I bet he's been naked in public before.  Was it just accepted on a college campus cause they thought it was a frat prank?  Or did he just go to an ultra-liberal clothing-optional school?
