Reviews, Visits, and Rankings / Re: The REAL T14 (Hint: NYU is #1)

Well, Tulane came up with $135 000 median private. I read somewhere that it's because only a small fraction of graduates participated in a survey.

USD is now 85th and Hastings is 36th, you can almost fit a whole tier inbetween them now.

Yes, more Fordham grads are employed by L&W. (15) BUT THEY ARE ALL BASED IN NEW YORK (with one in China)!!!! NONE WORK OUT OF CALIFORNIA!!!

Maybe they just didn't want to go to CA. They like NY.

What are the prospects for SoCal employment? I got $63K from Loyola and an acceptance from Hastings, not sure which one to take for best chances of finding work in SoCal or internationally?

Where should I go next fall? / Re: George Mason vs. Hastings

I've no idea about either of those schools. all I know is that they're pretty close in the rankings and starting private sector salaries. George Mason's focus is on economics, I hate math and cold weather. I'd love to practice in California and eventually live in SoCal, but know nothing about Hastings and their employment prospects. Please share your info.

If you want to practice in SoCal, I would look at SoCal schools over even Hastings.

Well, I also got accepted to Loyola with $63K, but it seems to be a career suicide having to compete with USC and UCLA? Besides, their starting salary is only like $85K, barely enough to get by in LA while living on the bus, fighting off bloods and crips?

Most top law schools still average multiple LSAT's, there was a list somewhere, look it up, or on each law school's website there's info about their multiple score policy.

George Mason has kept on rising over the last years. Are they about to stop?
