Law School Applications / Who's complete at Columbia and Stanford?
« on: November 23, 2006, 01:45:52 PM »
I'm complete everywhere else. I sent in apps a little over 3 wks ago. For others who sent at the end of October, are you complete at these schools? Or am I likely missing a Dean's Cert?

re: columbia's messy app
a) are you guys including years here?
b) with only three lines, are you separating activities w/ a semicolon?
c) are you numbering them?
d) are you actually describing anything? there's not much room.

Recommendations / TA & lecturer (not prof?)
« on: July 15, 2006, 12:51:31 PM »
i'm thinking of asking a TA and a "lecturer" (at my UG, an instructor who is not on tenure track and not necessarily a phd-- i've actually had 3 seminars with lecturers, but it's not that common) to write my academic recs. is it better to ask at least one full-fledged prof, even if the rec isn't as stellar?

thanks.
