Studying for the LSAT / Re: should i cancel my lsat?
« on: December 04, 2006, 12:36:47 PM »
Go with your instincts and cancel your LSAT. I have been talking to many people about the saturday test and they think that I am being too hard on myself.

That was one weird test. I did not fully comprehend the questions yet I had been scoring in the 157-165 range. I think nerves, and lack of sleep messed it up for me but I know it is not the end of the world. I have already started studying for the February 10 test. I wish you all the best

I am sorry to hear that. I think I spent quite sometime in my bed thinking about the test and before I knew it my alarm went off.

Well, after the test.I talked to my parents, friends and siblings. They said that it would be better for me to cancel my score since I am certain that I did not perform to my expectation and a mdeiocre score will not get me in any of the top schools. Waiting another year is worth it cos you have a chance to raise your score and work on a strategy that would help you in the next test

I started studying for the February LSAT exam yesterday....Yes... I know it is too soon but I really want a good score and I am determined to use the next two months to my advantage. I am happy that I have a four week break to concentrate on the LSAT.

-I have ordered the LSAC Superprep book since it contains some February tests.
-I plan to take three tests every week and review them.
-I am not signing up for any class,
-will start working out three times a week,
-listen to Mozart during my study breaks
-make sure that I get enough sleep the day before the test.

I wish you the best.I think it is better to have a good score rather than a low score.

Studying for the LSAT / February 10 study group
« on: December 04, 2006, 12:06:59 PM »
So after buying the LR and LG Bible and enrolling in Blue Print Classes, I was certain that the December LSAT was going to be a smooth ride. Little did I know that 4-5 hours of sleep are detrimental to your performance. I had the experimental LR Section and it was downhill from there. I looked at some of the questions in the subsequent questions and i could not comprehend them. It was like I was looking at these questions for the first time in my life. I really wanted to enroll in law school next fall. February 10 looks good to me.

I wish everyone the best!! Anyone interested in forming a february 10 study group?

LSAC and LSDAS / Signing LSAC Applications
« on: August 28, 2006, 05:22:41 PM »

I have a problem with the LSAC applications. I can easily write the dates of the application but I am having a problem with signing my name on the certification letters. Any advice? Should I print the crtification letters, instead of submitting them online?

Studying for the LSAT / Would you recommend Blueprint ?
« on: August 11, 2006, 12:57:39 PM »

I started practicing for the LSAT last month. My first score was a 147. However after purchasing the LGB and LRB, my score increased to 153 by the fourth test. I have decided to focus on the powerscore bibles before taking my next test. I will be sitting for the LSAT in December. I would like to raise my score to 165, by November. I have been advised to take classes and  I am thinking of taking the Blueprint classes in October. Has anyone taken blueprint classes in LA before? Would you recommend those classes?

Hello everyone... I am new to the website, just registered today. I am taking the LSAT in December. I have started studying ...bought a couple of books and based on the discussions that I have read, I also plan to purchase the power Logic and reasoning bible. I am also considering a prep course a week before the test. Has anyone heard of Prepmaster? Has anyone registered for the weekend seminar in November( California)Would you reccommend it?
