Law School Admissions / Differing GPA's
« on: November 09, 2006, 04:17:11 PM »
Ok my LSAC GPA > Transcript GPA > Degree GPA (according to LSAC)

So when an application asks for my Undergraduate GPA, what should I put?

I've said it before, but there's something very regressive about a "holistic" approach.

Guess who gets to have the nice-looking well-connected internships and who has to take the crappy paying jobs over the summer.  Soft factors are even easier to game than the LSAT.

Very good point, I tend to agree.

Why don't you go to Georgetown and already be in DC to work with the SEC.

My DU app has been submitted, but I'm not complete yet. :)

Dr. Gates is the master of change. He changed the unchangable: Aggies.

I would expect huge overhauls in Iraq now.

having both numbers over the medians means a lock unless you write a retarded PS or a prof writes a LOR in crayon.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the board and was wondering if someone could explain to me what the number you get from the Academic Index on LSAC means. Is there a database you can compare it to for admissions to a particular school or does LSAC provide a key?

As I begin editing my PS, I seem to be cutting it down shorter and shorter but with the same message still getting across. My question is simply how short is too short?
