I sure don't...today was a snow day and they already canceled tomorrow's classes as well.
Seeing as it's really f*cking cold out and there's lots of snow...I think I'll be barraging LSD with my boredom and/or idiocy. I apologize in advance - I will be extraordinarily drunk. This is the only good thing to EVER come out of snow. 33

So I got a very late fee waiver from Cornell today, and it also said that the Feb 1 deadline was being waived as well, and that I needed to include the letter with my app.
Moreso due to the deadline waiver, does this preclude me from applying online? Anyone have any clue? 34

Is it acceptable to submit an addendum after your file is complete? I realized that I forgot to address an issue that I had meant to.
Assuming it is ok, I'm guessing mail is the only way to do this? 35
LSAC and LSDAS / Transcript-sending« on: February 06, 2007, 06:38:05 PM »
I have a grade which was previously "not reported" (although non-punitively) and I want to update my LSDAS report to show it. Now, chances are that I can go into the Admissions & Records office and have them address a transcript to LSAC but not to actually mail it out, at which point I would pick it up (sealed and addressed) and overnight it.
Will LSAC accept this, I know they say that they "must be sent from the school" but do you think they would even ncessarily know the difference? 36

How long does it take to get a fabled "auto-admit"? I figure that at least one or two of my schools will auto-admit, and I'm curious to know the time frame in which that usually happens.

So I got an email from MSU today (why they send these emails out so late I can't figure out), basically saying that their students pass the bar..."Michigan State University College of Law is proud to announce a 97 percent pass rate for Spring 2006 graduates who took the Michigan Bar Examination in July 2006"
It's a good thing they neglect to mention that US News has their overall bar passage rate at just under 68%... Strategic Omission? I think so. It just made me laugh a little 38

When I was completing Michigan's app, I neglected to notice the instruction to write no more than 2 of the optional essays...I accidentally submitted three. I hope they don't get pissy with my app cause of that.

Got the notification from Virginia today...that is a major relief since 10 or so other LSDAS reports went out the same day, meaning I should go complete pretty soon at most of those places.
Every little step is a relief at this point - can this be over yet? |
