I was advised not to buy the 300m because your drives are not attached you will have to buy a seperate modular base. May not be necessary but you may end up carrying the weight anyway

Take this from someone who worked as a paralegal the past 3 years at the DA's and private. You will not maake the big bucks or good bucks and work 9-5. you will have more stress working for less money. The lastt post was on point with 50 being the norm for hours especially if you work in NY. I think about this all the time because I want a family but working less is not part of the greater picture if you want to make a name for yourself. I could be wrong but this is what my lawyer friends have told me better to saacrifice in the begining then to struggle when you are older.

I have a dell 600m it works great not that heavy and everything built in it is cheaper it runs smooth. I did not juice it up to much because everyone told me I wont need that much memory etc. if I dont plan to download too much it will be mostly for school I kept my desktop. I usually buy gateway but I have heard great things about dell so far i am content. definatley dont buy compaq. Good luck

Thanks you are such a great help. By the way I am going to 4th Tier more affordable closse to home and hope to transfer. You give hope to any of us that choose to go to 4th tier and make it higher.

same laptop just didnt get the 60 gig i hate the fact that dell is win or loose depending on the purcjhase week
Checl out microsoft presentation so much easier to put together than powerpoint and seems like a great study tool. |
