Where should I go next fall? / What law schools don't tell you.

It's snowing, and I'm stuck inside. Don't feel like freezing to go to class.

What interesting "secrets" have you found out about any of the law schools you applied to? Or just anything you know that most everyone doesn't.

Tell me everything. I'm bored.

What makes it "a positive sounding waitlist letter?"

Did they rank you?

Law School Applications / '07 Application Counts
« on: February 06, 2007, 08:04:46 AM »
A while ago, someone posted that apps were down again this year. This was partly based on LSAT test takers being down

Any updates on the actual apps counts? For those of us still waiting, any real news?

Seton hall is on my list...waiting to hear.

Do they have housing? Where do people live? I can't commute...too far.

Law School Applications / Re: Seton Hall vs. Rutgers-Newark

Rutgers Camden is located minutes from Philadelphia. It may be more telling to search for job placement in Philly, rather than compare it to SHU or RutgersNewark.

I know they said it doesn't mean anything. But how would the housing dept get the email address of applicants unless the admissions dept gave it to them. And why would they give the email address of people who weren't being admitted?

Make any sense?

Where should I go next fall? / Meeting people while part time - evening
« on: January 23, 2007, 05:28:15 PM »
I'm probably going to go p/t evenings, so I can continue working a couple of days a week. But, I do want to meet people. I definitely do not want to be a loner.

How is it for making friends, etc for the evening p/t time people for any people who know about it?
