Choosing the Right Law School / WL at Miami

On hold, then waitlisted.

Does anyone know if they have gone to the waitlist in the last few years, and how many got in?

Law School Admissions / At this point of the cycle....

I still have no response from about 5 apps.

Is it all over?

Is there any realistic possibilty of acceptances any more and after the first seat deposit is due? Or do I just go with the choices I have right now? Will I be at best be on the WL?

I'm going to send in a seat deposit, but it is really my #4 choice.

Choosing the Right Law School / P/t - Day or Evening

I have been offered part time, didn't get in full time.
It is one of my top choices.

Anyone out there know anything about the day, or evening p/t?
Any real differences (other than time?)

Law School Admissions / What happens next?

I sent in all of my apps (around 15 in Sept., Oct.
I still haven't heard from 5 of them and I know I'm in the not either an auto admit or auto deny at these schools.

It's supposed to be rolling admissions.
Do schools wait until after seat deposits are due to give you any reply?
Do people still get accepted after seat deposits are due (and I don't mean after being waitlisted first)

What happens next? ???

Thanks for the interesting post.

I am a NJ resident planning on attending either Rutgers-N or Seton Hall.

What about those of us who want to work only regionally?  NJ only, not big law NYC.

Where do we fit into the scheme. Where do you think we have to place in our class to get into a top NJ firm.

I don't think I'm a non-traditional, I'm 25.
Can you name some t2-t3 schools that may be better placements.

Translation: I don't want to be the only 25 year old around 21s just out of college.

I think you are so right.Apps are down and adcoms still have a class to fill.
Most people I know didn't even plan on the Feb LSAT.
Schools aren't going to get that many "better" candidates from the Feb LSAT.

Bring on my acceptances. I'm waiting.  :-\

What will this mean to all of us tier 3 people?

Could we possibly jump up to 90-100 school?
