I'm just curious how my fellow NYers feel about this.  I'll start it off...

I'm voting no way!  b/c i feel like it will depress me & bring back all those horrible feelings that took so long to go away.

Non-Traditional Students / How Do I Get Back On Track?
« on: July 31, 2006, 11:58:38 AM »
I started studying for the Sept LSAT in the beginning of the month starting off w/the Powerscore's LGB.  Last week I started having dreams about games almost every nite.  So i stopped looking at the book on Thurs.  Now i have no desire to pick it up again.  Has anyone experienced something similar, if so, how did you get back on track?

Black Law Student Discussion Board / B-boys & B-girls
« on: July 26, 2006, 01:44:29 PM »
I caught an episode of "My Coolest Years" on VH1 Classics last nite about growing up as a b-boy or b-girl.  It brought back fond memories.  :)  Any other former b-boys or b-girls out there?
Come on!  Don't perpetrate the fraud!  lol.....

Non-Traditional Students / Law Office Study
« on: June 19, 2006, 10:35:59 AM »
I'm in NY & NY is one of the 7 or 8 states in the country that allows people to take the Bar after 1yr of LS & 3yrs working closely w/an atty.  This is a great option since it cuts the costs of LS, helps w/experience & keeps a steady income flow after the 1st year is completed.
I s/w an atty who took this route & he said that it can be better b/c 90% of what's on the bar is from the 1st yr & there's more time to study b/c instead of focusing on finals & then studying for the bar right afterwards.
Anyone have any thoughts?
