Hey, good to hear from you. When are you moving into town, and how's the housing search going? I'm not sure where I'll live...judging by how others do this year though, I may have to avoid the Streeterville area if I want to have any kind of spending cash...
I'm officially moving out there August 15. Coming from the Bay Area, I'm used to obscenely high rent prices, so when I saw the prices in Streeterville, it didn't really phaze me--they were cheaper in comparison. So I decided to live there. I want to be close to the school, and if paying a couple hundred more a month (and a couple hundred less than what I pay in SF), means I can get to school quickly when its freezing out, I'd gladly do it.
It seems that there are no NU 1Ls on this board... or they are hiding and not really posting (like me). We should draw everyone out.
Then again, I think our entering class has a higher median age than most schools... so maybe most of us don't even know what the internet is yet.
Maybe this is why they sent it: I am entering 1L this year, and they just sent out these forms that we have to send back that state our intent to enroll. So if they get negative responses back, they're gonna pull from the wait list.
The forms are due July 21. Mine's going back tomorrow.
I have the 700w. Basically I first got it because my work uses microsoft exchange server, and the 650 didn't work with it easily or whatever. I've kept it ever since, and love it. I used to own a Palm Pilot, and so switching to WinMo5 was kind of a change, but I got used to it.
I think it's really a matter of personal preference. However, from my point of view, it looks like Windows Mobile is the way of the future--most, if not all, of the new smartphones coming out are running windows mobile. Whereas the PalmOS has been basically running the same operating system since the 90s.
It's up to you, I say play with them both. Stability-wise, you will find that both phones will crash--its just a fact of life.
If you want easy syncing with outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, etc., I say go with the W.
But having to pay for the service is horrible. My work used to cover it, now I'm stuck paying basically $90/month.

But this only affects how the school reports to the public its median LSAT. It doesn't affect how the school looks at the LSAT when admitting students.
So they could REPORT the highest score, but when admitting students, they could still AVERAGE the score.
I don't see how this makes getting into a school easier if you retake the test.
