I'd stay away from Pittsburgh.  It's a crappy city with an imploding job market.  I say go to either Case (since its the best school academically out of the three) or Villanova (since its in the best city/region/market of the three.)

But keep in mind that these are all regional schools, so its hard to truly say one or two are better than the others.  It's all really about what you want personally (where you are most comfortable studying, living, and working for the next 5-10 years of your life.)

Please substantiate your statement, "Pittsburgh's imploding job market" with facts. I also find it amusing that you call Pittsburgh crappy, and then proceed to recommend living in Cleveland, which IMHO is one of the crappiest cities EVER EVER. I guess it goes to show how much all these opinions about cities should be taken with a grain of salt.

i like how you ask the poster to subtantiate his/her claims about pitt's job market, but you go on to write cleveland is one of the crappiest cities ever ever with no explanation.  i don't disagreee with you, though.

wow...i talked to my friend in VTech who is a Korean-American Lieutenant in the US Army.  Last night, in Blacksburg, his car was vandalized.

Makes me sad.

unbelievable.  are people that ignorant/emotional/crazy to attack someone who looks like someone else?  plus, your friend is serving in the us army.  that is sad.

the same thing happen to me....and i sent it certified.  usps is a joke.  thank goodness i had proof of when i sent the letter.  i almost lost my seat.  i figured it was lost, but no, it just took 9 days to travel from cleveland to miami.  unbelievable.  i will never use usps for anything important.

i am glad you still have time to fix it, pkorkis.

i absolutely sent it certified.  from my conversation yesterday, the admissions office was more concerned about receiving it than when it was mailed.  i fully explained my situation, but at the time, it did not seem to matter.

i promptly used fedex to send a letter with explaination and the certified mail receipt last evening.  if miami is unwilling to be slighty flexible, maybe it's not the right school for me.

Just so everyone knows, this is the updated Calendar for UM Law School next year.  The link above is from last year.

oops....sorry to post the wrong calendar.  thanks for the correction.

i don't remember seeing anything about a 2nd seat deposit either.

more than likely i will end up in miami anyway....which may invalidate some of my statement.  i am probably just anxiously awaiting a rejection from case.  whatever.

i really don't understand what case is doing.  i am sure it would be a pain in the ass, but how about some correspondence indicating they are still in the decision making process and should hear soon.  according to this board, their process is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way.
