St. John's U Law School / Re: St. John's 2012

Now I'd like to change the thread from the Class of 2012 to entering in the Fall of 2012.
I'm a 28yr professional engineer working for a NYC design firm.
I applied for and was accepted into the PT division @ SJU.
My current plan is to continue working full time.
When I express these plans to people I either get a "great, its worth it, go for it" or a "you're crazy".

I've done some reading to prepare myself for my first semester.
The amount of hours one should be ready to commit to outline and prepare for class came out to something like ballpark 5 hours a day (7 days a week, adjusted for the 4yr program).
If I truly intend to work an 8 hour day all semester long, I'm not sure I'll be able to catch up on all my reading come the weekend.
Do the PT's in SJU that work have actual full time jobs or do most work for lawfirms, etc, that permit some reading and or studying during the day?
If in your experience you had a full time job, could you speak briefly about a typical day?
Do you agree with the work load estimate I have anticipated?
