I took 44 and missed
11 on args,
8 on reading comp
and 5 on games.
Scaled score of 77 -- a 160.

I had a lot of trouble with the reading comp as well. I found it very difficult to comprehend the intention of the questions. I.E. No. 19 about the "hypothesis" -- I picked the wrong hypothesis. Didn't finish the last reading, guessed on every question. Also didn't get to finish the last game, tripped me up but I'm working on my two-dimensional games setup. My new goal is to get every game right, there's no reason not to becuase you really can check your work.

I finally hit 160 today. Not bad considering I was at 147 two weeks ago!
Preptest 44
Missed 5 on games. Args fairly decent. Tanked the first reading comp. Missed 10. Any suggestions to bring up the RC?

Law Schools are like employers -- they want everyone represented at the table. If they didn't the world might be a much more homogenous place...

As a middle class white male I don't really have a problem with that. When I was hiring I made sure that I always made sure that our office was an open environment that had diversity to make sure all possible views were represented in our meetings.

LSAC and LSDAS / Major GPA?
« on: May 24, 2006, 01:44:56 PM »
My UG Gpa is a 3.48 -- but my hours completed at my UG institution are a 3.51 (took two classes at Georgetown and got B's). Which one is LSDAS going to take? Also, I have a 3.91 in my major classes. Is there any way to indicate that to law schools?

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Study "Drugs"

Adderall is a controlled substance that is constantly abused on college campuses and most likely, law schools across the country. I was thinking more about more legal stimulants and used it as an example because it's the "study drug" of choice around here. I haven't used it before but wondered if it might be helpful.

Thanks for the thoughtful input. I tried to delete the post but it wouldn't let me.

Anyone ever heard of taking Adderall before the LSAT? I have a feeling I'm going to have a hard time concentrating between 1-5 p.m.
