I wasn't saying it was bad that some people thought certain sections were easy. I think its great and I am happy for those that did well. It just kicked my rear end! And I'm jealous! LOL
Ok, here was my situation:
I had to drive to Dallas to take the test which fries my nerves anyways. So that was 2 hours there before the test. I was already stressed out bad because I have been having serious marital problems with husband, nearing divorce. Didn't study last week much due to it. Marital problems = very bad self esteem = not feeling good about test. I decided to take it anyways with this false sense of renewed self esteem. Got to test area and there were TONS of people there. My proctors were ok. I had two but for some reason they kept going in and out, in and out all through the test (at least 20 times) which messed up my concentration. I had RC-LC-RC-LC-LG, the WORST possible combo for me to get. There's this girl sitting in front of me that during the second section decideds to throw a hissy fit and cancel her score. The proctors go over to her and are talking to her which screws up my concentration there. I felt like I kept running out of time on EVERYTHING. Then, my time stopped working!! I swaer it was possessed! The numbers starting just going hay write which freaked me out and I didn't have time to fix it because the section was starting. So I put it up and tried to look at the one at the front of the room but couldn't see it. I thought I was doing good on time, but the dude screwed up and says, "Five minutes, well actually about 2 and a half." I was totally thrown for a loop and ended up guessing on way too many. Then I didn't have the time for the games one either and I only got 1 and half done before the five minutes warning which is just not normal for me at all so I ended up guessing on the rest of those too. I was just mentally fatigued and worn out.
So I've been thinking about if I should cancel it or not and I called powerscore. The dude there took the test also and he got the same format I did. He said it was the hardest test ever given and that he was talking to people up there and thought that was the worst sequence of sections. I told him about all the stuff above and he asked me, "Would you be happy with a 150 or 148 or lower?" (Hell no was my answer) "Well then cancel it." He told me to take again in October. He also said that he normally never tells anyone to cancel but he could tell that if I had been getting 155 (Yes, that's my norm score on prep tests) then I would know if I thought I did good or not. So that is my story. He said that section three was the experimental which screws me because I thought the first RC was hard as hell and I ran out of time on it.
Sorry so long, guess I needed to just get all that out. I'm not whining here so please don't think that. I just know I didn't do good. Not good enough for myself.
