Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Vandy or Illinois (w/$$)?

Vandy would definitely give you more opportunity nationally. However, if you don't mind staying in Chicago, I would say that you should take the in-state tuition and money at Illinois.

UNC...Chapel Hill is an awesome place.

Law School Admissions / Question regarding LOR
« on: May 04, 2006, 01:32:58 PM »
This is probably a stupid question but I am very new to the application process. Can I go ahead and start getting my LOR from teachers before the applications for Fall 2007 admission are released? I assume that some schools will have specific forms for the LOR so getting them this early might be a waste of time. Any advice is appreciated.

Anyone have a link to where I can puchase the NOVA book online?

Can I write the PS before I even know where I'm applying? Most schools haven't released their apps yet for Fall 2007 admission...wouldn't the topics vary from school to school?

Studying for the LSAT / Question Re: PowerScore
« on: May 03, 2006, 01:00:32 PM »
I signed up today to take the Full PowerScore LSAT class in preparation for the September 30 LSAT. However, I still have 3 months before August to study on my own. My question is, does it make sense to order the PowerScore bibles and study them before taking the class, or will the bibles be the material that is covered during the course?
