Meryl Streep looks great on last week's Colbert. Heart her!

I might go see that movie. If I ever actually made it to theaters, which I never seem to.

no moving violations yet.

::knocks furiously on wood::

I may have hit 90ish once. the corolla started vibrating. i slowed down.

I feel like this may have been on the jersey turnpike.

Fun fact: I prefer driving in the left lane because it means I don't have to worry about anything going on to my right.

I've only ever gotten one speeding ticket. But I take issue with it, because it was in Rhode Island. Which, you know, at the speed I was going, I was only IN Rhode Island for like 5 seconds! And then it was totally impossible to get back there for traffic school (and they maybe didn't do that? I remember it being confusing).

But yeah, I don't think I've ever broken 95, but I was hovering around 90 a few times on this last trip. When you're on those long, flat desert roads for a few hundred miles it's just tempting! People drive scary on those roads, though.

To complement the excellent suggestions by the other posters, you may want to look at recent reported decisions from courts of appeals in your circuit.  Any three-member panel with a dissent will likely have an interesting issue with two reasonable viewpoints

I find the BNA Reporters helpful for this. They report recently decided cases by subject matter (Crim, Tech, etc.) and give helpful summaries that you can skim through easily.

Also, they don't limit it to ten years, so I'm pretty sure there's a constitutional violation in there somewhere.

Sue! Sue!

That sucks, dude.

It is a blessed miracle that I did not get a speeding on my way out to Vegas. Mercy me.

Being down here kind of makes me like driving again, oddly enough.

how did we ever deal with dial-up?

We didn't.

This  :D

am i really THAT much older than you?

i feel dirty.

I think it also had to do with where I grew up/what my parents did for a living. But I don't really have a basis for comparison, I guess.

i really should be doing more.  i feel like my life is boring.

Sometimes it's good to just chill!

The internet is being wonky. It's making it hard to get work done.

ETA: I am enjoying it very much, actually! I think I've finally gotten into the groove with the new job (not until right at the end, but oh well).
