Start the clock: 2 weeks and counting...

I am giving USC two weeks to render a decision (denial or acceptance) and then I have to move on with my life. I need to find an apartment in DC or prepare for a cross-country move.  Two weeks, USC, two weeks.

And applications are down 18% by the way.  Good for me, but potentially a bad sign.

Excuse my stupidity, but what does a waitlist that is not ranked mean? If it's not ranked, I picture a blindfolded admissions officer walking over to the waitlist pile and randomly picking one. I mean to say, don't they prefer to take "better" waitlisted people before they take "lesser" (me) waitlisted people.

I'm pulling for the 163s too! Don't worry they'll get there.

Well, thanks for withdrawing. Maybe one of us will get your slot. It seems they are slowly sliding down the LSAT scale. They were at 166 a week ago and now they are working their way through 164s and 165s.

People got email acceptances today?  Their office isn't even open yet.

Let the next round of admits begin!!!

I wonder how fast they will start to make decisions considering deposits were due last Friday?

I feel for everyone waiting on USC.  If I get in it will be bitter sweet because I will have to waive the deposits that I have already put down and also move to the opposite coast.  I think we will see alot of movement next week. I wish everyone luck!

Yeah, I find USC's lack of communication strange. I know my application is not still in a committee after 4 months, just say rejected or waitlisted.
