there must be a different approach because I score around 165 range and I dont think about any of the stuff you mentioned at all..Prob why im not in the 170's...

I makes me feel like I either should have studied more or not visited this site..

Studying for the LSAT / Re: What are you doing this LAST LSAT week?

One preptest a day, 8 AM everyday till test day..I didnt really start getting into it again until about a week ago...I felt I studied too much last time and psyched myself out.. Im in a much better state of mind this time and my the test are feeling less taxing mentally(finally not having to rush)..

I agree with the poster above...I was scoring in the 165 range but then only pulled a 160 on the test. Im retaking but remember there is always a possiblity you wont score that high

Seems this is a touchy subject...I just wanted help applying to schools. If being a URM helps at all, this might be the only place in life being black MIGHT has helped. I have had MANY situations where it has done the exact opposite.

I read these numbers and they are shocking. But no need for an AA debate.

Any1 have suggestions for schools??

so now that the crazyness seems to be over, I'm wondering about the interaction between all the different graduate programs at Howard? Do Med/Business/Law work together on anything, any cross organizations?

not that this matters to your question, but the Business Schoola and Med school are on the main campus while the Law school is a 30 minute drive away.

that sucks..If I went there I wanted to see the undergrad chicks on the way to class.

Yeah I feel the same way about Fordham...Its just that I really wnat to go to school in NYC but Im not sure if I wanna go to St. Johns if I can get into somewhere a little better..Would Cardozo be any better???

Im dont think I have a chance at Emory ot UNC...but I might apply..I grew up a HUGE UNC fan and have family down there. I also hear Emory is beautiful..

Yes im a URM(black dude), college athlete, and some other EC's...My GPA is a result of just not doing any work.

Im retaking it on the 29th and I hope to break 165. I think I can afford to apply to 10 schools plus I still have my fee waivers from last year...

Can any suggest some schools to apply too? Im trying to stay on the East Coast as well.

How is this very tentative list(I will modify if/when I raise my score)

St. Johns
University of Miami(fee waiver)
Univesity of Florida
Washington and Lee(fee waiver)
