the only unfair thing is that people who dont have ADHD abuse the *^&$ out of the system, making it harder for those who do have it to have their legitmate accomodations granted. people with ADHD often make it through life and dont even realize they have a problem til they get to a timed test that requires extremely close attention to detail. A person without ADHD misses those details because they just didnt get it. If a person with ADHD misses those details it could be because despite having the correct answer within 20 seconds, they circled the wrong answer on the scantron or perhaps their brain overlooked a word. i think they should grant the accomodations differently - they should give unlimited time and simply mark down the time when the person returns the test. That way, it alleviates the pressure, the student knows they need to work as fast as they can, and if in the end, the person winds up not requiring the 52 minutes, it does not have to get reported to law schools.
