Studying for the LSAT / Stuck...Need Help
« on: July 01, 2006, 05:02:07 PM »
I cant seem to get any better at Reading Comp and it is killing my score.  It is not accuracy but speed I always seem to do 3 passages in 30 minutes only leaving 5 for the last.  I then end up getting 7-8 wrong.  Is there any way to get any better ? I have taken 4 preptest but have done a few sections also, im I just stuck there.

« on: June 27, 2006, 03:49:17 PM »
I read a couple of threads and came across some great advice, that has helped my dramatically improve on Reading Comp in a short amount of time.  I never thought id be so excited over lsat improvements. On my first two diagnostics i got 7 and 8 wrong on reading comp.

Then I changed my stragety to reading the first sentence of every paragraph then reading the rest. Now on my last two sections i got 1 wrong.  ;D ;D

Anyone else have have any advice for RC just post it here.

Splitters, people with either a high gpa and low LSAT or high LSAT and low gpa come and discuss here. What schools look favorably upon splitters and is the admissions process even weirder for us.?

Was it that bad…you guys are scaring me with all this about the LR section because I didn’t expect them to be a lot harder than anything I  have seen.  Im also happy about games being easier, BUT WAS IT REALLY THAT HARD OF A TEST??? WAS THE LR FAIR???

Studying for the LSAT / Is this weird???

I took a Kaplan diagnostic(but not the course) in December and got a 154 now I take a Princeton Review and get a 147 after a little studying.  I think i might have rushed as I also did on the first test but this time it was worst.  I dont think it is all the concepts but the time for LR that freaked me out.  It was Preptest 43 and it seemed way different from earlier Preptests. I was dissapointed with a 154 but a 147 I'm about to throw away that Kaplan book I bought.

Studying for the LSAT / Need advice about Princeton Review
« on: April 23, 2006, 10:19:44 PM »
I have read it isn't the best test prep. But i think the structure and set test times will greatly help me, and it is the only one that fits my scheduale as i plan on going to Italy for basketball for two weeks late august.  Is Princeton Review that bad???? Or does it all depend on instructor and the such.... I took the diagonostic for Kaplan totally cold and only got a 155 which isn't good considering my 2.85 gpa, also a urm. I want to get my score in the upper 160's so i can at least attempt to get into a good law school.
