Pursuing an LLM / Reality check: paying for the LLM
« on: December 20, 2011, 03:36:55 AM »
In my head, going for an LLM sounds great. But it's only financially viable if it doesn't set me back another 68 000 USD.
UF-Levin offers financial aid to research assistants. But it does not say how much per year.
UMich offers Grotius Fellowships, but also declines to state how much.
So I need to know: will they cover my costs? Those of you with knowledge - can you tell me if these forms of aid generally cover tuition only, or is there a (livable) living stipend associated with it?
And, how many LLM students realistically receive these forms of assistance?
Much appreciated!
