Studying for the LSAT / Debated LR 2/6: Fats
« on: October 02, 2006, 08:02:39 AM »
I thought this question was awful. I narrowed down to 'extreme' (choice A) and 'defending against' (choice D). I picked D, but I think all the choices were bad.

Vote if you think the current answer is correct by selecting it. If you think it's incorrect, vote 'incorrect' and post your AC.

From the one's we're sure about, it seems I got one wrong max. I agree w/ some of the debated answers, and disagree with some of accurate is that list?\

Studying for the LSAT / YET another cancel q

First off, does anyone remember the question for the last LG question on the soup game? (#22). I thought I nailed this game, but saw some discussion on it that made me think I may have made an error; I'd like to check that.

In any case, based on the PM it seems like I'm 41/50 on LR at worst and 45/50 on LR at best.
For RC, there are 11 (including the ones that aren't answered, etc.) that I'm unsure of or got wrong out of 28. I don't know what the real number of wrongs is, obviously.
Assuming I'm good on #22, I'd stick w/ my -2 on LG at worst.

I was practicing around a 168 average; should I cancel and retake? Suggestions?

Studying for the LSAT / Is the RC Master List accurate?

I don't remember most of my RC answers anyway, but it seems -- based on that PM -- that it's plausible I got even more than my worse feared score (-10). Like I said, I don't really remember what I put but for what I do it's almost all wrong. Is this accurate?

Studying for the LSAT / Third RC Passage

Can anyone elaborate about this one a bit? I can barely remember what the MP was, or any of the details and it's hurting my ability to gauge how I did on the passage based on the PM

For the record: I'm referring to the culture passage

I feel horrible about my performance today. I think LR/LG went OK (not as well as could be, but fine nonetheless), but can't stop thinking about how badly RC went. It was my first section, and it was miserable...I was anxious as hell, and couldn't focus. I guessed on 2/3 on the last passage and could see me getting my worst RC score ever. I don't really remember most of my answers, so the postmortems are little help. Question: Cancel or stay? What should I do? I'm really devastated right now.

PT #43. My diagnostic. I got SO many wrong on this RC section. I'm terrified of what RC did to my score.

Studying for the LSAT / LG/RC HELP HELP HELP
« on: September 30, 2006, 04:38:32 PM »
Okay, so I wrote down these two notes to myself about LG. I got a bit frazzled, and only finished 20 questions. I eliminated down to two on one of them. Both of my guesses were on the Car/Graduation game.

I have the following in my notes "Car 95" and "91=2." These two notes reflect the answers I picked. I don't know what the questions were. I'm sure I got everything else right (mostly sure, anyway). Does anyone know if either of these reflects a CR? What about the last RC? I put C for 2 guesses on the last passages -- any C's there?

Studying for the LSAT / C's on the last RC passage

I usually guess D, but I went with C this time on that brutal last RC passage. Anyone remember if there were some C's in there?
