I shouldn't have cancelled my score...too bad. I assumed the scale would be the same (or worse) than it was in September because the test seemed infinitely easier, and after making a stupid mistake on a LG, cancelling seemed like a wise decision. Oh well...congrats to everyone who killed this test! I'm seriously contemplating a Feb. retake for some WL action...

I see they already called some people with acceptances the other day -- seems like a one time deal for auto-admits. When do you guys think they'll start notifying everyone else?

No, I didn't get it today. My guess is it will arrive on Monday or Tuesday for me. If you DID get it, post here and divulge details please...
EDIT: Sorry, hope this is better.

I'm graduating after this semester, and am thinking of sending an addendum to pending schools after receiving my fall grades (I think I'll get a 4.0). I already have a very high GPA, but the only reason it's not a solid 4.0 is due to my first semester of freshman year. Would it be overkill to note this in my addendum by stating that my grades have been consistently A's since the fall of freshman year? What do you guys think?

Is this resource reliable? I used it to calculate my index at various schools, but noticed -- for example -- that it gave me a different index at Cornell than the one on my LSAC report. LSAC says it's 3.5, but LSN says it's 3.4. What's up with that?

December 15 is rolling around...let the pre-EA decision hype begin.

Well, I have my first WL in hand from GULC. I like the school (and the area) a lot. I'm not on the priority waitlist, so I know that makes my odds slightly more difficult, but what do people typically do to try to get in off the waitlist? Should I plan on sending frequent updates/letters of continuing interest? What's worked in the past? Suggestions?
I feel like my GPA along with my soft factors saved me from the ding, so I think if I play my cards right, I could have a shot at this. What do you guys think?

What do you guys think? It doesn't matter for me obviously, but I definitely thought the difficulty was on a different level than previous tests (easier). What do you think the scale will be?

I left before the test ended. I did great on RC and the real LR (I'll mention what section this was later), but I messed up a LG rule in game three and didn't notice till the end of that game...it took me too long to fix everything. I couldn't even come close to finishing the fourth game because of this, and knew that I wouldn't be able to do any better than my previous score due to the LG mistake. I'm pretty annoyed with myself, but wasn't feeling well at all anyway -- been somewhat sick all week, and thought I could do it anyway.
Oh well, I'll have to deal.
