Does this help with LR or LG? What do you guys think?

I've been using the LGB meticulously for about two weeks now and am up to the chapter on the ‘forgotten few.’ I’m going through the book very slowly, and have been photocopying the test sections as per advice on this board. What I think is happening – and I’m not entirely sure – is that I’m becoming acquainted with the games from the book and not actually learning the general tricks, etc. I’ve DEFINITELY gotten better at LG as I used to be entirely inept with them, and can now get 15-16 right per section consistently when I take practice sections, but this is not good enough for me as I’d like to be getting only 1 or 2 wrong per section. Also, I still feel ‘lost’ when I try to tackle certain games that are not in the LGB. Suggestions to improve? Comments?
Thanks as always!
I'm working through the LGB and the LRB from now until the end of June when I am taking a Kaplan course. I know most of you insist that taking Kaplan is a bad idea, but there's no real other options where I live. Here's my question: if I work through the bibles and get relatively good at this stuff, will the techniques I learn in Kaplan/etc. screw me up?
Hey all -- first post.
I'm a reasonably good student who typically does quite well in school. I've started prepping for the LSATs (mostly marginal stuff till the Summer, as I'm planning to take it in Oct). In any case, I'm seemingly unable to do the Logic Games. It takes me so long to work through them, and it makes me dizzy and intimidated. I don't really have the same problem with the other sections as I usually only get 4-5 wrong in LR and 3-4 in RC. Honestly, though -- I CAN'T do these logic games. Am I doomed?
