This is really happening...

Studying for the LSAT / Box is filled...
« on: February 19, 2007, 10:13:44 AM »
Couldn't believe it. I checked just two weeks ago, and it was completely empty. Now it's stuffed with old pictures, clothes and LSAT materials. So a ghost is in my house or something?

Law School Admissions / WL at top choice...what to do?
« on: February 12, 2007, 05:13:29 PM »
It was probably a courtesy WL, but how should I approach my WL at UPenn. I retook the LSAT...may go up, may go down, may stay the same. Hard to say. Outside of that, what can I do? Anyone have any success with something like this?

Studying for the LSAT / So I took the December LSAT today...
« on: February 06, 2007, 05:42:07 PM »
Hadn't reviewed it/thought about it/looked at it since cancelling in December after the LG goof. I ended up missing 6 on the rest of the test (-6 LR/-2 RC). I missed only 1 LG today, but I probably would've missed about 6 on test day. I guess that would've translated to -14...what scaled score does -14 net? How about -9 (LSAC doesn't give the scale to ppl who cancel). I'm happy I did well this time, but kinda bummed I cancelled at all in December (because I'm pretty sure -14 would've been higher than 163).

Location aside, which would you choose and why?

Law School Admissions / Gunner you play?
« on: January 20, 2007, 04:49:22 PM »
On my GW tour, the tourguide mentioned "gunner bingo" where people punch holes on the persons name/face when they talk in class. Anyone else ever hear of something like this? LOL.

Law School Admissions / Visit school before getting in?
« on: January 14, 2007, 12:32:07 PM »
I'm going to have some time to visit some schools that I've yet to get into (and, obviously, might get rejected from). Should I schedule visits anyway or would that be weird/stupid?

Studying for the LSAT / Conflict...

LSAT retake vs. trip to NFL pro bowl all expenses paid. Leaving for Hawaii after the test doesn't seem possible. What do you guys think?

Law School Admissions / Offices open on Monday?

Anyone know specifics? Mail delivery? Anything? I'll take anything from concrete facts to speculation...
