Why do you say Badnarik is a nutjob? I have followed him since the Liebertarian convention when he got the nod to be candidate and I have yet to see him do anything nutty. If you are referring to his being arrested at the debate's I don't think that is nutty. What IS nutty is having a debate using public funds and not allowing viable candidates to participate. Give specifics about why Badnarik is a nutjob.

I dont know but 61% is low enough to suggest you should steer clear regardless.
Not alot of options. I am not a T1 kinda guy. 2.06 159 does not get you into the schools with 90%+ bar passage rates. Thanks for the advice though I wish I were in a better position, but you take the hand you are dealt and play it.

I am really interested in attending St. Mary's in San Antonio but an Alumni (undergrad not law school) told me that they are in danger of losing ABA status due to their low bar passage rate (61% vs Tx avg of 78%) Has anyone else heard this? Should I call and ask the school or would they even admit it if they were? Any ideas?

Law School Applications / Re: Touring UT and Austin nightlife

What kind of scene do you like? Logan's is a cool bar, Coyote Ugly is ok not great. The aquarium or the library are a good crowd for younger college age folks (lot's of hotties there) For music go to stubbs or Antone's on 4th street. Pete's piano bar is always a good one as well. Lot's to choose from. Be careful though the police on 6th street are real jackasses. A freind of mine was arrested for crossing in a crosswalk and the light turned on him (we were both in the crosswalk but they arrested him and didn't touch me, he is black.) Anyway have fun but watch yourself. If you like techno dancing stuff I think Paradox is pretty cool ,but I am not sure if they are still open. I Live in Austin but I am old so I don't get down there much anymore.

Law School Applications / Re: DOWNY needs your help

OK similar situation(though not near as cool as Downy's) I bought a new car last week but it was not ready because they had to get it from another dealer. So the dealership give's me a car for the weekend. I drove the car to Houston where I got a parking ticket. But the funny thing was they ran the liscense plate on the car and it did not come back to the dealer but to some other poor idiot who I guess had just traded the car in a couple of days ago. My question is do I pay the ticket or let them send out the Houston swat team on this poor unsuspecting soul.I am thinking screw it as I don't think there is anyway that they can track it to me. Is this unethical? hmmmm

Practice low 159  Practice high  168   Practice average of 164 over 18 tests.
Real LSAT.......159  You never can tell.

I have actually had this conversation before as well. Yes I would still go to law school. Then I would start a practice doing only pro-bono child advocacy law.

My 2 year old son would kick all their asses. I am 6'2" 190 lbs and he kicks my ass. He usually wears me down for a couple of hours having me chase him first though. It's a dirty little trick but it works. Ahh the terrible two's

General Off-Topic Board / Re: Anyone here not like beer?
« on: September 18, 2004, 12:21:18 PM »
I love beer.
I married a girl who is half german and we go visit her family in Germany. Her grandfather is a brewmaster at a bavarian brewery. Ahhhh Heaven. It is so funny though in Deutchland beer is so celebrated even little kids drink it it's called cola-wiessen. We americans are such prudes. Oh no don't drink beer it's so bad you will go to hell. Well I tell you what I drink warm beer in Germany so if that's all they are serving in hell tell satan to open a bar tab for me!
