Law School Admissions / Re: Your main target school?

Super Reach = University of Houston (paid the 70 bucks though like an idiot just to hear no!)
Stretch = South Texas College of Law (Please oh please oh please!)
Safety= St. Mary's

Practice low 159  Practice high  168   Practice average of 164 over 18 tests.
Real LSAT.......159  You never can tell.

I have actually had this conversation before as well. Yes I would still go to law school. Then I would start a practice doing only pro-bono child advocacy law.

My 2 year old son would kick all their asses. I am 6'2" 190 lbs and he kicks my ass. He usually wears me down for a couple of hours having me chase him first though. It's a dirty little trick but it works. Ahh the terrible two's

I love beer.
I married a girl who is half german and we go visit her family in Germany. Her grandfather is a brewmaster at a bavarian brewery. Ahhhh Heaven. It is so funny though in Deutchland beer is so celebrated even little kids drink it it's called cola-wiessen. We americans are such prudes. Oh no don't drink beer it's so bad you will go to hell. Well I tell you what I drink warm beer in Germany so if that's all they are serving in hell tell satan to open a bar tab for me!

Law School Admissions / Re: What's a "good" LSAT score?
« on: September 17, 2004, 03:30:23 PM »
What is a good score? Well I scored a 159 for ME that was horrible as I was averaging 164 on practice tests, yet to the school I am applying a 159 puts me well above the 75% so for them it is good. Who knows. I was disappointed but hopefully it will be enough. Because it's the real deal that matters.

I don't care who you are, or were, or maybe are, or might be, or want to be, or has been. Just keep writing funny stuff.
I am me ( I think)

Yeah urban settings are not so great for an F-250 Crew Cab 4x4 either. Not to mention that I get 10 miles to the gallon. My gas bill would kill me in a month even if I could make my payments on a $40K vehicle (which I won't be able to do). Don't worry though, Shotgun and Cowboyhat are essential for life and cannot be negotiated away.

Talk about lifestyle change. I am selling my house, my truck, and taking a 60k paycut. Although it really does not affect me I am worried about my wife and son as they are the one's who will be sucking it up the most. But I guess that's what life is all about sacrifice for later success.
