Studying for the LSAT / Re: types of LR questions
« on: May 18, 2006, 08:00:11 AM »
Personally, knowing that there are several different question types distracts me from what is really important - answering the damn questions in the first place.  Memorize them if it helps, but don't let question classification distract you - any time lost means your score will be that much lower.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm still plugging away. I do well with the "Identify the Templates/Possibilities" type questions. After yesterdays fiasco, I did the games from test 45 and only missed 3. I did tthe games from Test 44 today. I got the first 2 100%, but had to guess on the last 2. These are the types that give me trouble. I can't get a set up that tells me anything. How would you guys set up the third and fourth game from Test 44?

Thanks again.

This is the deal. I'm consistently getting about 159-161 on practice tests. The break down is usually like this RC 2-5 wrong, LR 2-7 wrong, LG 12+

I've gone through the LGB several times, went through Nova, redone the games i got wrong, done a bunch of game sections timed and untimed....none of the sh*t works. I just want to get three games done 100% correctly, I'll bubble D for the 4th game. I think I can pick up the slack on the rest of the test. It won't be the end of the world if I don't get over a 170. I'm not trying to go HYS. I'll settle for anything over 160. So these games are really f-ing up that plan. The grouping games give me fits. What can I do at this point? I'm taking the test in June, So  I have 27 days left. Postponing till October is not an option.

Not to be a prick, but if you're going to leave condescending remarks, do it somewhere else. I need some serious help at this point.

How about buying one? Have you considered that?

Actually, I already have one, it's for a friend.

You must work for Powerscore.
