I'm always making jokes about "touch and concern" the [land][burger][whatever else it applies to] to the point where people want to hit me.  I like adverse possession jokes too.

A dude in our class made a spreadsheet of EVERYONE'S grades and it calculated your percentile in the class and in your particular section and your GPA.  A little creepy.

Weekend at Bernie's. Oh, and Soylent Green. It's made out of people, you know.

My parents thought it would be perfectly normal to have me watch Soylent Green when I was like 10.  It traumatized the hell out of me for years.

"The Man Who Wasn't There"--Coen Brothers, exquisite + partial legal relevance.

Another old Coen brothers film that is a personal favorite:  "Blood Simple"

I'd also second the previous nomination of Memento, which is another of my personal favorites.

Thank you, now one of my other choices has verification, since apparently I don't know good movies from bad.

Who has seen Donnie Darko?  I wanted to throw that one out there, but maybe most people have seen it?  And of those that have seen it, just as many seem to hate it as love it.

It was ok, I certainly don't think it's as great as most people seem to think it is. I think if Jake Gyllenhaal weren't in it along with that stupid song nobody would have paid it any attention. It was ok...2/4 stars.

TITCR

Also, Hot Fuzz IS a very funny movie, to second Jihad again.

Thirteen was an awful movie.  Your other suggestions will now be regarded with extreme suspicion.   ;D

I worked at a video store and watched movies nonstop the entire time I worked there, and there just aren't many movies I would call "awful" or "terrible."  I am predisposed to like every movie unless it really and truly sucks horribly.  I don't recall thinking Thirteen was bad, but to each his own.

What's your LEAST favorite movie?  I'd say mine is Day After Tomorrow.

Hmm... that's a tough question.  I'm sure I could come up with a good answer if I gave it some thought, but the only thing that comes to mind right now is a movie that an ex told me I should watch... some whacked out movie about a kid.  I wish I could remember the name of it, but I would know it from the movie poster.  I'll have to ask him.  It's a pretty old movie, but I think the poster/cover has the kid in profile with his hair kind of flying back if that rings a bell for anyone.  Anyway, when I watched it like 8 or 9 years ago, I wasn't impressed... and it's actually kind of a surprise that I remember hating it now.
