It was for me since I'm... working for the school. They don't hire people from other law schools, as far as I know.

How many law schools are there in that state, two maybe?

Three that are accredited... but I think there are probably a couple more unaccredited.

Stop calling me that bitches!

I still know better than to call you that.

That's because you're samrt.  :-*

heehee

Uhh... that was on purpose, blue.

I got all three of my job offers through OCI.  I sent some resumes to a few firms outside of the state and heard nothing from most of them, but my grades got me a lot of interviews and it worked out really well with my offers.

I know its ridiculous but i feel as if the dating pool is shrinking on a daily basis..what is this?!

Yeah, pretty much everyone I know from college is engaged or married, and everyone in my law school class is getting to be the same way.  There were at least a few weddings this summer of people just in my section.  It's a little scary, but oh well.  Once you're in law school (if you're not already) you'll have less time to worry about it.

My school's General Counsel office.  Paid-- $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!

Ok not really, but they did pay for my Constitutional Law class this summer... and I make some money too.

And I'll go to school for free if they keep me during the school year.

I don't know if that. . .just means that I'm a lot simpler than y'all.  :D

Ha!  Shut yer trap.

I enjoyed learning about substantive law at a 1L level, including conlaw.

Me too, especially conlaw and the "short story" case classes, crim and torts.  I found contracts most intellectually engaging, however.  I'm sure this varies from prof to prof.

Yeah, I agree.  My profs fall semester were amazing, but last semester we had a bunch of total duds.  I never felt intellectually stimulated even if the reading was interesting.

In response to blue's question, sometimes I hated law school a lot, especially last semester, but I don't regret it.  But I agree that you really have to be sure about it before jumping in or you may be really sorry later.  There were plenty of people in my class who talked constantly about quitting.
