Has anyone been able to tell if College Invest has any origination fee? Myrichuncle says it has a "3% origination fee as determined by federal law."
So is College Invest, with their 3% principal discount at disbursement, basically just waiving that fee? 22

I'm right there with you. There are good days and bad days. Most of my own anxiety comes from fear of the unknown. I think once I'm moved to the city where my LS is, I'll be more calm. (or that's what I keep telling myself, anyway!) 24

I found a place to live, by the way, about a mile from campus in a single-family residential area. 26

I have to be diplomatic, but I can't tell you what I know if I have had them. Unit 3A Civil Procedure, Professor DuVivier, TThF 1:15 PM Contracts, Professor Taylor, MWTh 2:45 PM Torts, Professor Pepper, TThF 10:30 AM Lawyering Process I, Professor Anderson, MW 1:15 PM I checked out all their bios on the DU web site  , sounds like standard fair except students seem to like Pepper, I think? and DuVivier sounds like she's pretty active, physcially...28

I've been taking a class 2x a week since the winter, and I feel really good after I go to class. I think it will really help me stay sane in LS, as long as I keep making time for yoga classes.

Thanks for your post- you asked some good questions. I don't have answers to any of them since I'm a 1L, too, but I've wondered about many of the same things you mentioned. |
