Law School Admissions / xoxo, quote of the day
« on: October 11, 2004, 08:43:37 PM »
"Harvard sucks".

None of you fuckers could ever survive at Harvard. You might as well all go to Arizona State and then Cooley law school. Only true elites can attend Harvard. You third tier toilet shitpackers have no clue how retarded you are.

Man I love xoxo.

Studying for the LSAT / I felt ashamed
« on: October 02, 2004, 01:47:22 PM »
At the last moment last night, around 12:30 am, I decided to postpone the inevitable, and changed the test date to december instead.

I feel so ashamed in letting myself and other LSDers down  :-[

Am I hopelessly late?

And I have only asked one prof so skin is so thin......

Studying for the LSAT / PrepTest 23, LG #2....stuck
« on: July 18, 2004, 08:16:02 PM »
Guys, I get stuck on those two questions, and i need your help!

Game 2, Q6-11

Fu, Gunsel, Jackson, Kowalski, Lee, Mayer, and ORdoveza are the only applicants being considered for some positions at a nonprofit organization. Only applicants who are interviewed will be hired. The hiring process must meet the following constraints:

[using abbreviations here]:

if G is interviewd, J is interviewed.

if J is interviewd, L is interviewed.

F is interviewd.

Fu is not hired, unless K is interviewed.

K is not hired, unless M is interviewed.

if M is hired, and L is intervieweed, Ordoveza is hired.

My problems lie with Q9 and 11:

9.  if G and five other applicants are the only applicants interviewed, and if exactly three applicants are hired, then which one of the following could be an accurate list of the applicants hired?

A. F, L, M
B. F, K, W
C. K, L, O
D. G, J, M
E. G, J, L

11. if O is not interviewed, and if exactly four applicants are hired, then which one of the following must be false?

A. L is hired
B. M is hired
C. J is interviewed
D. K is interviewed
E. G is interviewed

Thanks a lot!  :)

Choosing the Right Law School / Chicago vs Penn
« on: July 17, 2004, 04:38:37 PM »
So this year, U of Chicago is ranked #6, just below NYU, and Penn is ranked one slot below, at #7, sharing it with Michigan.

So out of those two elite schools, which is the "better" one, overall?  ;D
