So if you get deferred or WL'ed, does anyone know if these positions are first-come-first serve (as in, you get in on the wait list depending on when you apply) or if they are ranked in desirability?

I assume they are ranked, but I don't know that for sure. Anyone have a clue how that works?

I am deferred and still desperate to hear from L&C. SIGH.

There is just SO much to think about. I am going crazy.

I emailed them, and was told I am before the admissions comittee now and I should hear "shortly." I don't know how soon that is but I'm ready any day now :)

Yes, it's a beautiful thing... no matter what, still going to law school :) I have to pinch myself every once in a while!

I'm not even concerned with that, but I think I will call anyway. After all, we future lawyers should be concerned with the technicalities, right?

oooh ohh I can answer that! Case guys are total nerds :)

I am a nerd, so for me to say that is pretty harsh. Seriously though, Case has a reputation at least in their undergrad/engineering programs for antisocial people. Please forgive me if you are a Case grad, I am only generalizing. Smart people. No social skills. Mensa quality. Mensa personalities. Think Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind.

So the Case guys can leave something to be desired. On the other hand, you will certainly stand out if you have a personality.

Case--great school, great rep. tons to do in the area. Highest starting salary of all ohio schools per my old data. Maybe they'll even let me in. <sigh> Museums, lots of life on the campus, near the lake.

so a c curve would put that %50 at C's?

I hear there is a forced C curve, and forced out for 2.0 or lower. I am certainly planning to be at the top of my class, but I hear many plan that. So can anyone tell me: Do all schools have these curves? Does anyone know anything about Willamette and curves?

That's how I am feeling about Willamette... even though it may not be the best, I really like it.

I want a free laptop!
