It has nothing to do with anything other than me wanting to do pursue something that I enjoy. If I took a year off I would be making no money. And it's an investment it is not a waste of money. Assuming you, well I, (because you probably couldn't handle law school TAXguy) will be a lawyer for 30 years. I would definitely say that it is an investment I am willing to make for $160k.

So if you wouldn't mind many people would appreciate it if you keep your valueless comments to yourself.

What a unique and great idea. I am going to retake the LSAT this February. Oh damn that means I only have three weeks to prepare and thats if any top 20 schools will even accept a February LSAT. But I am sure this time I will get above 170.  ;)

So I recently found out that I got into both Chapman and Southwestern and I am heavily considering both. It is a very tough decision for me to pick between the two. Does anyone have any good advice?

I was wondering if anyone is studying environmental law or is an environmental lawyer. I heard that its a tough area to get into because its really dry material and doesn't pay much. I am curious to see how true that is.

I have heard good things about powerscore. I heard that one of the founders of Testmasters left with the material he had from testmasters to start powerscore. I took test masters and loved it so I would assume powerscore is similar.

concurring: I would definitely make sure you take classes you enjoy and are easy for you. You seem like a conscientious person and when you need to get the LSATs taken care of you will. (Probably starting spring semester of Junior year.) In the mean time I suggest taking classes in your first year and a half that you can pull strong grades in to get acclimated to college. Than take some academically challenging classes which you find enjoyable as well.

I would say you should have a shot at a T-14 school. I am not sure if you already have but I would alert the schools you already applied to that you have a new lsat score. I here more and more about schools accepting the highest score and disregarding lower scores.

If I was you I would try to focus on individual questions and stop taking practice tests. Than when you feel more comfortable start taking practice tests again but always do time tests. Tests without time are pretty useless.

I talked to someone about this and I am going to call each law school after the new years to see if they want it or not. I had a withdrawal so I am not to excited to show schools that but I did very well otherwise.

My fall semester just ended and I received my final grades. Do these grades need to be sent out to the law schools I applied to/got accepted to?
