I dont know if you can still do it, but a few weeks ago you could download the 2007 beta version for free. Maybe that might be worth checking out before you buy it?

So, the impression that I got from USD was that we got our schedules and bought books at the bookstore on the 16th. Does anyone know if theres a way to find out which books we need to buy earlier so that we dont have to buy them new through the bookstore? (This is assuming of course that the USD bookstore is more expensive.)
I will most likely be there in the fall. I was limited to San Diego for personal reasons, so unless some miracle happens and I get off the USD waitlist, then I will be there.
I seriously feel like I have typed a responce to you like 6 times...but apparently not... Have you heard anything from USD? (Best of luck!) Aside from that, are you (or anyone else) planning on doing the summer program?

Hey everyone! Congrats on your acceptance! I am USD 1L would be happy to answer any questions. I live off campus, but I know a couple people that live on campus, so I could give you more information if you want. The best way for me to answer questions is through PM, but feel free to post questions here. PS - I moved all the way across the country and it is definitely worth it!

I would highly suggest not doing anything. I took a summer class which studied many major cases in multiple different areas and I think in some ways it hurt me. Don't get me wrong, it was great to learn how to take a test, but learning the material early was hard. As soon as one of professor's during the school year said something that I learned in my summer class I would weight it more because I thought it was more important and I would fill in gaps with, not wrong information, but different than what my professor wanted. You will be shocked at how much each professor will take a different spin on the material, and you don't want to hear the book in the back of your head during the exam. Just a suggestion.
I was notified via email. My email had the subject as "Good news from USD" and was similiar to the other email someone posted. The person that I know that got into their day program received a call from the Dean.
I will PM you my numbers.
