Is anyone who applied in October and was deferred in December still waiting on Cornell?

Hey all... I feel like this is messed up (being a BC thread and all), but is anyone visiting BU as well?? I'm thinking about stopping by on Thursday mid-day.... anyone else?

I might do that.  I was planning to attend their ASD on the 11th, but maybe going earlier wouldn't be a bad idea.

Okay, I just started the weight watchers plan... 'cause i wasn't exaggerating about the 20 lbs thing and I only have two months to get rid of it... hopefully this will work...

20 lbs is quite easy to lose.  Also, is the weight watchers plan just diet?  If it is, I suggest you add some physical activity, preferably power cardio exercises.

Also, is your Dozo scholarship dependent on you keeping a 3.3?

Yes, it is GPA contingent. Is it easier to get to the top at Brooklyn & Cardozo than at Fordham??   What do you think?
It's is very hard to predict LS grades, so I doubt the probability of you doing better in either school can be calculated.

-If you are an in-state resident for one of the schools, let me know which one  - None.

-If your parents are paying for a % of your law school, explain that.  Be sure to include whether or not you care how much your parents are paying.  Maybe a few hundred bucks a month, but that's about it.

-Where you want to practice, and what kind of law you want to practice (possible options include biglaw, midlaw, small firm law, public interest, clerking, government and business) Practice in NYC.  I want to start out in BigLaw, but go into PI later, preferably environmental law.

-Let me know what you are like socially and what type things you enjoy I prefer schools that have a close knit student body.  I like to party or just chill, in short, I'm a social chameleon.

Bear is dangerous now, he is turning into a BU troll.  *hides under a BC acceptance.
Ok, if you wanna go to BC, that's cool too! I just want you in boston to go drinking with!

Cheese, I depend on you to brainwash PC into going to BC over USC. We would make an awesome group!

I don;t think there will be a need for brainwashing.  Once she receives a "generous" scholarship package from USC, SUC won;t be her 1st choice anymore.

I think the mailed invite said that the official program is 9:30-2:30.  I know there's a student association happy hour later as well.

Credited.
