I think you left a message on my LSN profile - Looks like you're really leaning towards SU. I really appreciate your review of the school and its surroundings. I'm not surprised to hear that the environment is pretty dreary - I think Syracuse would be a much more viable option for me if it weren't located in Syracuse
Seriously, I like their modern facilities, academic concentrations, and the fact that they have on-campus housing, but upstate NY does turn me off a bit plus, I'd really prefer to work in the mid-Atlantic (particularly DC area) over NYC or anywhere else in the Northeast. In your discussions with the administration, did they mention their success in placing graduates in jobs outside of NYC, Boston and the general area?
