I had a hand written note from the Dean on my acceptance letter:

"I am impressed with your achievements and background. You have done so much! I know you will be a success at our school..."

pretty nice :)  certainly helped me with my decision!!

Yep.  That's what the post requests by the title.  The single folks will most likely skip past this thread.  It is kind of funny that the OP basically wants to know the reverse, of how many single people will be in Law School.

By requesting those that are married to post, I am assuming those that don't post aren't married. They may not be single, but they haven't yet committed to a family. It will a little awkard and cumbersome to change the post title to be "any one out there not married, but not dating, or talking to someone?"

If I havent been admitted in time for admitted students day, is it safe to say that I wont be admitted? I mean, at least I can hope for a waitlist, but no acceptances, right?

I mean, what is the point of accepting people after their admit day?

I know it isnt a ding until its a ding, but I dont see much hope for admittance after missing admit day

am i correct?

Ok, so I have been following this post for a while and I am finally ready to post..... I FINALLY GOT A CAT!!!

The whole reason I got her was to be a companion in law school. Something to come home to after a looong legal day.

I am soo excited about my cat. I am thinking about naming her Missy because I will most likely be attending Mississippi College (get it, Missy short for Mississippi?)

I am soo excited and ready for all the challenges and joys my new addition will bring..

Isn't the whole point of going to law school to find a husband?

Why on earth would you go if you had one already?

So true!

I am soo afraid that I will get to law school and everyone will be much older than me and married. I mainly applied to Southern schools, so let's stick to that area.

I am excited about meeting single people my age (22), but just hope that not everyone will have a family already.

So, are a Southern guy or gal and married?

but, what day is the final day to make a decision?? what if I still havent heard from my top choice (which will probably be the case considering how long they have waited)

Should I email the assistant dean that my seat deposit was sent?

Or should I just wait to see if they have cashed the check by April 1?

Do schools cash these checks pretty quickly??
