I really need to see that recent documentary on penguins - I hear it's great... although everyone tells me I'll cry at one point in it... :'(

I know what you mean about money!  For the first time in my life, I don't have a steady income... and my ATM card stopped working today!  Practically gave me a heart attack.  I'm stressing like CrAzY... But one way or another, it will all work out...  try not to let money stop you from going to law school.  Money comes and goes, people come and go, but education is something no one can ever take away from you.  When you're done with law school, come on out here to practice!

That movie made me cry like a baby.... Just make sure you have pleanty of tissues on hand for the cry fest.

Yikes - will do.  And I'll leave off the mascara that night too  :-[  I think I want to practice environmental or animal law.  Anything to do with helping children or animals will make me very happy.

I have super strong letters and a super strong personal statement.  I've been interviewed by many of the major national news stations / magazines & newspapers for my advocacy work... from PBS to Time Magazine -  so if it's the "soft" factors they're looking at now - I'm happy to hear it  ;)  I just have a really poopie LSAT score of 159 because I can't do those darn logic games.   So has there only been one person pulled off?  Does that mean we have to wait for another cycle of re-reviews of applications, or do you think they're still looking this month...  :-\

Okay, I want your place.  And your pets.   ;)

They send you kisses  :-* :-* :-* :-*

I'm sure she wants your spot in class....  ;D

I was going to say something to that effect...   :-[  I'm really petite - we could actually fit into one spot if we squish in.

I'm only on UCLA's waitlist - but just letting you know, I sympathize with y'all on housing!  Aaaaahhh!!!! So stressful. I'm in Orange County at the moment with a great two bedroom, two bath, two story, high beam condo - walking distance to the beach for only $1,350/mo - and need to get back up to L.A. for Pepperdine or UCLA - and everything around 1K up there is horrid - and definitely not big enough for my dog, and three cats.  You're lucky to get a studio for that price near UCLA or Malibu.  If anyone finds something great - let us know how you did it - thanks!  :-* :-* :-*  And congrats to you for getting IN!  ;)

I have no clue how they're doing this...  My inclination would be to think they'd take the next best qualified applicant...  sometimes those with lower scores are better qualified - which would mean they're taking a very thorough review of our folders in their decision making, and not just looking at numbers.  But I'm just as confused as y'all...  ???  Maybe we'll get a better feel for the strategy when a few more are pulled off  :-*

It's true... someone was accepted off the waitlist - and it wasn't me... My numbers are only slightly higher than his - not sure what that means, if anything.  But I think it's kinda encouraging.  Regardless, congrats to whoever gets in!  It ain't over, till it's over.  8)
