You're right, Skeptic - it does seem like I'm always here... in the library right now  8)... I decided to take a mediation class here over the summer, since they're known for their dispute resolution program...

Looking forward to the DELI!!!  YUMMY!!!! :o  I love trying new eateries  ;D

Thanks  :D I didn't apply to any northern california law schools because of current ties to Los Angeles... but I sure hope to practice up there!

GO BEARS!

I was on Pepperdine's waitlist last year, and they didn't take anyone off of it... but I've heard that they are taking people off of it this year... I think I read on another thread they are starting next week.  I got into Pepperdine this year  8), and decided not to go to Loyola (L.A.) - since I'm in love with Pep's campus (so beautiful) - so I'm not sure how Loyola's waitlist works.  But it sounds like most places start a re-review of applicant's files...  and look for continued interests and any updated information.  Good luck!

Hello there, how do you like Pepperdine so far?  I have to give you my recommendation for this sandwich place in Santa Monica (Yes they are Vegan Friendly) But when you have the chance, you must go to Bay Cities Deli on Lincoln Blvd. in the city of Santa Monica----best sandwiches i ever had :P

I am now officially starving and am leaving the library to go eat! Droooolll...  Unfortunately I'm currently in Orange County, but will definitely check out the deli when I'm up in SM - thanks Skeptic!  What's the cross street?

Oh - I don't think I was very clear...  I don't start the law classes at Pep until August... hoping they'll be great  :-* :-* :-*

whoa -  :o yes, thanks for the info. Seems like the review of waitlist applications keeps getting later and later - stupid question, but what is a "deferal" in terms of law school applications, MTO?  Does that mean you're deferred until the next year?

I'll be happy at Pepperdine, but it sure makes moving difficult - as I'm sure must be SUPER confusing if peeps are between schools a lot further away from each other...  I'm not moving until I hear a final decision.   :-[

Anyone else holding off on moving?

Just got a call from Pepperdine, they said they would be taking people off the waitlist next week and asked if i would still be interested in an offer.  I withdrew my app

Interesting... last year Pep didn't take a single person off the list... anyone taken off of UCLA's waitlist yet?

I can't help it...  I love that I'm such a bleeding heart liberal, berkeley grad - going to such an ultra conservative school... makes life interesting.  8)  And actually - I don't think there will be too much time for drinking or going to the beach.  :-*  And I think you just can't have sex in the library.

No. They are against sex before marriage. Thus, they strictly prohibit homosexuality because of it (unless you are from Massachuesetts and married or something). But straight sex before marriage is prohibited too.

It's easier to quash discrimination from the inside, than the outside... me thinketh...
